Teddy Santis, the Aimé Leon Dore founder and now the new Creative Director of New Balance MADE in USA, gave a first look of the New Balance 990v6 via his social media. This presentation of the shoe comes in New Balance's signature 'Grey' featuring a mesh upper with suede overlays with an updated outsole. The silhouette of this latest version of the 990 is reminiscent of the 992, and will continue the 'chunky' aesthetic that has defined the dad-shoe look throughout its versions.
